Hey! I'm Danny: Founder of Pinhead Jewelry. I started creating these pieces about five years ago but not as a business. It was more of a creative outlet for me and a way to express myself.
I’ve always been drawn to unconventional, bold jewelry.. pieces that feel powerful, personal, and a little unexpected. Jewelry that tells a story.
Keys became a central part of my work because of what they represent to me:
when one door closes, another one opens.
That idea mirrors my own journey, especially through my background as a professional dancer. In an industry built on auditions, rejection, and constant movement; music videos, tours, gigs that come and go; you learn quickly that you don’t stop when a door closes. You keep going. You keep creating. You keep showing up.
And then one day, a door opens that unlocks possibilities you couldn’t have imagined before.
Each piece is designed to carry that energy: resilience, motivation, and transformation. Many of the materials I use are vintage, collectible, or one of a kind, chosen intentionally so no two necklaces are exactly the same... just like the paths we take to get where we’re meant to be.
